Plan the location of your vacuum and ropes
Before you start grinding, make sure you have considered the mode to be performed and how the vacuum hose and power cord affect the path. I didn't really think about the vacuum cleaner in the room until later, which wasted a lot of time and had to stop grinding and move the vacuum back and forth.

Clean and neat. In my opinion, grinding directly on the wall or column may be the worst part of the grinding process. You basically have 2 options. You can use a hand grinder to stay on your hands and knees for a few hours, or you can use a smaller hand grinder with edging function. We are using a 250mm concrete grinder for trimming. The effect is good, but the work is cumbersome.

All in all, sanding on that floor gave me a new perspective on what you experience every day, and I have more respect for all the concrete sanders there.
